Early Drover goals enough to take down Stars

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City women's soccer tam fell in a 2-1 decision after the Drovers netted two early goals to take down the Stars on Senior Night.

Science & Arts 2, Oklahoma City 1

'65 - Hallie Crom; Assisted by Yami Ponce

How it Happened
The Drovers got off to a quick start by finding the back of the net just seven minutes in the contest from beyond 40 yards out off the foot of Ilse de Jong. Moments later Science & Arts extended its lead as Paula Cagotsajus provided the goal. The Stars went into the locker room trailing by two before Oklahoma City cut the deficit in half 20 minutes in as Hallie Crom nailed her eighth goal of the season off the assist by Yami Ponce. Needing a score, Oklahoma City could only get off two more shots with one on-goal from Ponce and the next in the 86th minute by Yessenia Ochoa-Lopez which was blocked by the USAO defense leading to a 2-1 victory for the opposition.
