One minute later, Amelia Horsford put the Stars on the board off the assist from Yessenia Ochoa-Lopez that gave OCU the lead. The goals began to pour in for Oklahoma City as it was Yami Ponce netting the next two goals one minute apart from each other nailing the penalty kick in minute 30 followed with a goal from Pionce in the 31st.

Nelson got off three shots in each half where OCU goalie Gemma Harvey came up with two saves in the first half holding the Lions scoreless.
