About the Stars      

  • Oklahoma City enters Tuesday with a 4-13 overall record while going just 2-9 in the first half of conference play with wins over Oklahoma Panhandle State and Southwestern Christian.  
  • The Stars come off yet another close defeat on Saturday against Texas Wesleyan 79-71 suffering its eighth loss of the season by single digits.  
  • Avery Jackson (16.9 PPG) and Brandon Jackson (16.8 PPG) lead the way for OCU in scoring as Avery comes off a 14-point day on Saturday while Brandon leads the Stars in free throw shooting and ranks second in the conference at 85.9% from the line. 
  • Yorgio Golesis, a freshman who has started in 13 games this season, came off a team-high 19 points on Saturday while averaging 11.1 PPG.  
  • Parker Jones has been lighting it up lately as the junior tied a career-high on Saturday against Texas Wesleyan with 17 points and five rebounds.  
  • Oklahoma ranks 11th in the SAC in field goal percentage and 12th in three-point percentage. However, despite the shooting woes the Stars have seen excellent success from the line ranking second with a 75.6 FT% as a team.  

About the Golden Eagles 

  • John Brown holds a 10-6 record while starting 8-3 in Sooner Athletic Conference play.  
  • The Golden Eagles have won their last four of six games, coming off a loss to Science & Arts on Saturday 71-65.  
  • Drew Miller leads three double-figure scorers for the Golden Eagles averaging 13.9 PPG while knocking down a three-pointer in his last eight games.  
  • Right behind Miller in scoring is Malachi Reeves scoring 13.8 PPG and racked up 17 points and five assists while going 3-9 from downtown against USAO on Saturday.

Previous Meeting 

  • In the last meeting this year, coming back on Nov. 28 inside Bill George Arena the Golden Eagles secured a 91-73 victory.  
  • Oklahoma City had four reach double-figures as Brandon Jackson led OCU with 19 points including a 3-7 night from three-point land.  
  • Drew Miller led the way for the Golden Eagles with a game-high 21 points on 8-13 shooting while securing a double-double with a season-high 14 rebounds.  

Series History       

  • OCU holds a 20-16 advantage over the Golden Eagles in the all-time series dating back to 2007.
