OCU completes run at NAIA championship meet

Biggs paces Stars with appearance in final

MARION, Ind. - Led by senior Milan Todorovic, a freshman and two sophomores, the OCU men's track and field team closed out the 2022-2023 season at the NAIA outdoor track and field championships. 
 
Halen Biggs finished 27th in the men's 10,000-meter championship with a time of 32:09.06. Biggs, a sophomore from Oklahoma City, was coming off a first-place finish in the 10,000 at the Sooner Athletic Conference meet. 

Todorovic finished 12th and Brendan Robeaux 26th in the 800-meter day-two prelims. Todorovic, from Belgrade, Serbia, finished the race in a time of 1:53.80, while Robeaux, a sophomore from Mustang, Okla., secured a time of 1:57.06. The top finisher from each heat plus the next five advanced to the finals.
 
The combo of Aiden Hoover, Tate Smithhart, Fares Maarouf and Milan Todorovic placed 18th in the 4x800m relay with a time of 7:49.52 in prelims. The top two per heat plus the next top three advanced onto the finals.

The Stars finished as the runner-up in this year's SAC conference meet. In addition to Biggs' title, the 4x800m relay team won the conference championship, while Robeaux was runner-up in the javelin.
