Throughout the 2022-2023 academic year, OCU's athletics teams were again highly successful in the classroom and in competition. Behind the scenes, the department also reached an impressive milestone with 100 percent of the current full-time coaches and staff being donors to OCU via the Champions Club.
"I am very proud of our full-time employees for sending a powerful message of support to our current and prospective student-athletes," Corey Bray, Director of Athletics. "Not only does our staff give tirelessly of their time and talents, but they have also now given their treasures to positively impact the student-athlete experience at OCU."
In addition to gifts made to the department overall, coaches' and staff contributions were made to each of the university's 22 varsity sports. The internal support matched with donations from alumni, friends and family is a key characteristic to OCU's championship culture - a point emphasized by Bray.
"This staff financial support, combined with the continued support of our fans, donors, and sponsors, will set the stage for continued student-athlete success in the classroom, in the community and in competition!"
