OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University fell 5-1 to Southwestern Christian on Friday afternoon at Eagle Field at Dolese Park.

The Stars moved to 18-17, 10-6 in Sooner Athletic Conference baseball on the season. Oklahoma City got on the board first as Noah Kang scored on Chad Pike's fielder's choice RBI.

Southwestern Christian hit a two-run homer in the sixth to take a 2-1 lead and added three more in the seventh.

OCU amassed six hits with Jesse Fonteboa getting two of the Stars' six. Fonteboa, a senior from Las Vegas, went 2-for-4 on the day. Barrett Daniel went 1-for-4 with a double in the ninth. Trent Kiraly, Hunter Lenochan and Aiden Alexander had the other Star hits.

OCU saw three pitchers in the game with Andrew Limbaugh getting the start, Limbaugh, a junior from Edmond, Okla., fanned one batter over 6.1 innings. Noah Kang and Grant Harrison came in to finish the game.

OCU will finish up their series with SCU with a doubleheader starting at noon Saturday at Eagle Field at Dolese Park.
