First Half

Mid-America Christian controlled possession for the majority of the way through the first half with a couple of shots coming early on. Oklahoma City only got off two shots with Abby Russell having an attempt that was blocked and Reese Roberts taking a try that fell wide left. MACU was able to get off six shots in the first forty-five minutes but the Stars goalkeeper Gemma Harvey refused to let anything get by her as Harvey came up with three saves in the first half. Neither squad could come up with a score as the first half concluded 0-0.

 Second Half

Coming out of the locker rooms the match flipped as OCU was in control of a lot of possession in the beginning part of the second half. OCU got off five shots in the first 30 minutes as Hallie Crom gave two attempts that nailed the crossbar and the other was blocked by the Evangel defense. On the MACU side of the pitch, Mia Willyerd lined up a corner kick that found Deborah Silveira who knocked it in to give MACU a 1-0 lead in the 75th minute of play. OCU tried to make its way back but could only get one shot on goal for the rest of the match as the attempt from Jimena Martinez was saved by the Evangel keeper Rachel Torres. As time expired Mid-America Christian came out on top with a 1-0 victory.
