Oklahoma City was able to control more of the possession in the second half as the Stars got off its first two shots with Ashley Russell and Hallie Crom both giving attempts that missed the goal. The OCU defense held JBU in check offensively as the Golden Eagles only got off six shots and six corners in the second half. Oklahoma City just could not find a goal the rest of the way in the second half as Yami Ponce took two attempts with one being on goal that was saved by the JBU keeper. Abby Russell, the Stars leading scorer, also took a chance that went wide of the goal to round out the shots for OCU. John Brown had one more goal to add on as Rachael Stone put in her eighth goal of the season to stretch out the lead 3-0 to conclude the match on Saturday afternoon.
