SAN ANTONIO – Oklahoma City University blanked Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) 2-0 on Saturday at OLLU Field.
Lucas de Freitas came up with both goals for Oklahoma City. The Stars' record now stands at 6-2.
The Stars' first goal came off the foot of de Freitas in the 31st minute off a pass to the middle by
John Woodhead. De Freitas' goal would be his fourth on the year. Woodhead continued his dominant offensive performance and brought his point total to 16 to lead the team. His assist total is now at two. Woodhead has scored or assisted in every game but one this season.
De Freitas' second goal came on a deflection that
Jordan Da Costa assisted on for his second goal on the game and fifth goal on the year. The assist by Da Costa would be his fifth.
Defensively, the Stars only allowed four total shots with two on goal.
Danilo Vilani wound up with two saves to bring his season total to 24.
The Stars' next matchup is set for 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kansas Wesleyan in Salina, Kan.
