DUNCAN, Okla. – Oklahoma City University's Dylan Teeter took a share of the individual lead through two rounds of the Sooner Athletic Conference men's golf championships Monday at The Territory Golf & Country Club. 

The Stars, ranked seventh in the NAIA, trailed Texas Wesleyan by one shot in the team standings. Teeter, a freshman from Bixby, Okla., stood in front of the field by two strokes. 

Oklahoma City seeks its 25th SAC title. The Stars turned in a 287-285–572 on the par-72, 6,825-yard course. Texas Wesleyan, ranked 11th, shot a 287-284–571, while No. 14 Wayland Baptist (Texas) registered a 294-279–573. Southwestern Christian, ranked 17th, came in fourth at 297-284–581. 

Teeter forged a 69-68–137 to tie with Wayland Baptist's Sebastien Tremulot, who had a 71-66–137. Teeter knocked down 10 birdies while limiting himself to three bogeys on the day.  

Three Stars held spots within the top seven. OCU's Dalton Daniel produced a 69-73–142 to tie for fourth. Daniel, a senior from Newcastle, Okla., sank eight birdies. Will Fore posted a 73-70–143, good for seventh, for OCU. Fore, a senior from Southlake, Texas, knocked in eight birdies.  

Oklahoma City's Tres Hill, a freshman from Elk City, Okla., put together a 76-74–150 with six birdies. Bosten Benn, a sophomore from Edmond, Okla., carded a 79-78–157 along with four birdies. 

Ben Thionnet paced OCU's individuals with a 72-76–148 to stand 19th. Thionnet, a sophomore from Edmond, Okla., made five birdies and one of six eagles among the field on the par-5, 480-yard seventh hole.  

Other Stars competing unattached were Bo Robbins (80-76–156), Carson Breckenridge (80-80–160), Jacob Wright (85-80–165) and Caleb Allen (86-86–172). 

The last round tees off 8 a.m. Tuesday.
