OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University launches the Stars Soccer Camp this summer on the OCU campus.

The Stars Soccer Camp will be conducted by OCU coach Billy Martin. There will be day camps and residential and commuter camps.

The camps take up where the Brian Harvey's American Youth Soccer Camps left off. For more than 30 years, Harvey's American Youth Soccer Camps provided the Oklahoma City metro area with fun, expert soccer instruction with an estimated 6,500 youth enhanced their soccer knowledge and skills over the years.

The day camps are for ages 5-14 with dates June 13-17, June 20-24, July 18-22 and Aug. 8-11. The cost is $125 for most camps with the price for the August camp $110. The camp provides a fun, safe environment for kids which includes individual skills, small-sided and full-sided games, laws of the game, tactical and technical training and much more. The fun filled introduction to the basic skills of the game allows the campers to improve on juggling, dribbling, shooting, heading, passing, collecting and goalkeeping. Campers get instruction plus a t-shirt.

The residential and commuter camp are geared for ages 10-17 with the camp taking place June 26-29. The residential/commuter camp is designed for the more serious soccer player from the ages of 10-17 who want to improve their game while in the college setting. Campers will experience expert instruction, technical and tactical training, small-sided and full-sided games, film and a fun atmosphere.
