GOODWELL, OKLA- Oklahoma City falls to Panhandle State by a final score of 3-4. The Stars sit at 10-5-1, 4-3-1 with one match remaining on the season and dropped into fifth place in the SAC standings with the loss.
The Stars got off to a good start with a goal in the 12th minute by Jusang Kang.
John Woodhead would assist on the play. The Aggies quickly responded with a goal in the 25th minute. The Stars would turn around and respond with an assisted deflection goal in the 34th minute by
John Woodhead. Again, Panhandle State responded with three straight goals in under 20 minutes to ice the game.
John Woodhead scored the Stars last goal in the 84th minute off of a penalty kick.
The Stars' second half of the game was one that saw only two OCU shots, one OCU goal, and an own goal that allowed Panhandle State to get back in the game. The Aggies had eight shots alone in the second half and 14 overall. The Stars had eight shots overall with six in the first half with five on goal.
Danilo Vilani ended the game with one save. Woodhead led the Stars with three shots and two assists. Woodhead sits at a team high 13 goals and 28 points on the season. Kang sits at five goals.
OCU will have their final game of the season at 7 p.m. Saturday at Brian Harvey Field for senior night against University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.
