OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University won for the fourth time in five games on Saturday afternoon with a 72-40 Sooner Athletic Conference win over North Texas Dallas on Saturday afternoon at Abe Lemons Court.

All four of the wins have been double-digit affairs with the closest margin being a 17-point victory over Central Christian (Kan.) on Jan. 20.

OCU (14-7, 9-7 SAC) never trailed against the Trailblazers. After holding a comfortable 30-12 halftime lead the Stars outscored UNTD (10-13, 4-12 SAC) 32-12 in the third quarter to build a 62-24 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Senior
Abby Selzer led the Stars with a team-high 19 points and a team-high tying seven rebounds. Senior guard
Erika Ankney finished with 11 points and junior forward
Fiona Wilson contributed 10 points and seven rebounds.

OCU went deep into the roster with seven players coming off the bench to contribute to the win. A total of 10 players scored for the Stars.

Freshman guard
Rachel Barry made the most impact of the bench players, finishing with nine points, seven rebounds and a team-high three steals. Junior guard
Kelsi Fitzgerald finished with seven points.

OCU made 29 of 70 field goal attempts (41.4%) while UNTD made 12 of 59 attempts (20.3%). The Stars finished with a 58-38 rebounding edge, with the plus-20 margin being the third biggest of the season for OCU in that category.

OCU returns to action on Thursday with a road game at Panhandle State. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. The contest will be the first of three straight road games for the Stars.
