LANGSTON, Okla. – A strong third-quarter performance helped boost Oklahoma City University to an 88-68 Sooner Athletic Conference win over Langston on Saturday afternoon at C. Felton Gayles Field House on the LU campus.

OCU (12-6, 7-6 SAC) held a slim 43-37 halftime lead before outscoring LU (14-6, 9-5) 24-12 in the third quarter to build what would prove to be insurmountable 67-49 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Fiona Wilson sank two free throws to push the lead to 66-46 with seconds remaining in the third quarter and the game would get no closer than a 16-point margin the rest of the way.

Abby Selzer led OCU with a team-high 27 points and nine rebounds. Dawn contributed a season-high 22 points and senior guard
Erika Ankney finished with 19 points.
