OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University fell to Mid-America Christian 3-0 on Tuesday evening at Brian Harvey Field.
OCU moved to 5-3, 0-1 in Sooner Athletic Conference women's soccer.
Millie Templeman pounded a shot off the crossbar in the 82nd minute for the Stars. Jennifer Starwalt of Mid-America Christian notched four of her six saves in the second period. Josie Knox posted four saves for OCU.
Kelsey Henry scored twice, including the match's first goal in the 15th minute. The count remained 1-0 until the 50th minute.
The Stars took 12 shots to the Evangels' 11. Mid-America Christian became the second foe to hold OCU without a goal this season.
Oklahoma City takes on Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) at 5 p.m. Saturday at Brian Harvey Field.
