The Stars scored in the fifth minute as John Woodhead scored off a center cross from Paul. Paul found Woodhead from the left side of the field.
OCU went up 3-0 when de Freitas fired a goal into the far right lower corner of the net. De Freitas recorded a hat trick when he rebounded Tommaso Belli's shot, then nailed the left lower corner of the net. De Freitas matched the OCU record using an assist from Jusung Kang for an 8-0 Stars advantage.
Gustavo Cardoso, a junior from São Paulo, Brazil, added a pair of goals, and Paul, a junior from Bristol, England, accrued a goal and two assists. Wyatt Long posted two assists. Belli scored the Stars' last goal in the 73rd minute.
The Stars polished off their fifth whitewash in six contests. Danilo Vilani, a junior from Goiânia, Brazil, minded the goal in the first half, while Derrick Rodriguez, a freshman from McAlester, Okla., made his OCU debut in goal in the second half. Oklahoma City owned a 39-4 advantage in shots.
