THE MATCHUP
• Oklahoma City University aims to play its way into the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament in its regular-season finale at John Brown (Ark.)
• The SAC Tournament pairings will be announced Sunday with seeds determined by the conference oversight committee. Eight teams will qualify for the tournament from the 11-team league
• John Brown is not allowing spectator attendance at its home contests

ABOUT THE STARS
• The Stars routed Southwestern Christian 92-79 on Feb. 13 in Bethany, Okla. OCU (2-5, 2-5 SAC) scored 59 points in the second half for its season-high total in a half
• Rashaun Coleman, a 6-foot senior from Houston, produced career highs with 25 points and 12 assists against Southwestern Christian. He notched season bests in baskets (eight), free throws (seven) and rebounds (seven). He became SAC player of the week for Feb. 8-14. Coleman has averaged 20.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game with a 54.3 percent shooting percentage the past three contests. In 2020-21, Coleman has sparked OCU with 13.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.00 steal a contest
• Kori Guest, a 6-6 junior from Tulsa, Okla., added 24 points and four rebounds while shooting 9-for-12 from the field and 6-for-9 from 3-point range. Guest supplies the Stars with 14.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.29 steals per game while shooting 40.7 percent on 3-pointers this season
• Oklahoma City dishes out 16.6 assists per game as a team to rank 27th in the NAIA. Coleman's assists average rates 12th among the NAIA this season. See how the Stars stack up with the other teams in the NAIA statistically here
• The Stars took the eighth spot in the preseason SAC coaches poll. OCU owns 13 SAC regular-season championships and 10 SAC Tournament titles. Oklahoma City has advanced to the NAIA Division I Championship Tournament 25 times all-time and has won six national championships in 1991, 1992, 1994, 1996, 2007 and 2008
• OCU's lead in the overall series vs. John Brown stands at 38-19. The Stars nipped John Brown 75-74 on Jan. 30 in Oklahoma City. Romario Spence nailed a layup with 2.2 seconds remaining for the winning basket

• John Brown fell to Texas Wesleyan 69-58 on Feb. 13 in Fort Worth, Texas. The Golden Eagles (5-6, 5-6 SAC) fell behind as Texas Wesleyan went on an 18-4 run early
• Densier Carnes, a 6-3 senior, had 21 points, six rebounds and two steals. He shot 11-for-12 from the free-throw line. Carnes averages 16.6 points and 6.6 rebounds a game
