PLAINVIEW, Texas – Wayland Baptist scored two second half goals to post a 2-1 Sooner Athletic Conference win over Oklahoma City University on Saturday afternoon. The result snapped OCU's two-game winning streak.

Millie Templeman provided OCU a 1-0 lead when she scored off of an assist from sophomore
McLain Moss in the 23rd minute. Aryial Garcia pushed the home team to the win with goals in the 71st and 74th minute.
Each team finished with 12 shots with OCU (7-4, 2-2 SAC)Â holding a 7-3 edge in shots on goal. Senior
Josie Knox finished with one save for the Stars while Kanade Morita made six saves for WBU (6-3-1, 2-1-1).

OCU returns to action next Saturday with a home game against John Brown. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Brian Harvey Field.
