Towle from OCU gains recognition from SAC

Freshman from Orlando, Fla., notches top-five finish in Friends meet

Stephanie Towle competed in her first college meet over the weekend.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Stephanie Towle of Oklahoma City University snared the Sooner Athletic Conference women's field athlete of the week.
The SAC recognized Towle, a freshman from Orlando, Fla., among its weekly track & field honorees for Jan. 18-24 after her performance in the Friends NAIA Mid-Season Invitational over the weekend in Wichita, Kan.
Towle posted fourth place in the high jump with a leap of 4 feet, 9¾ inches (1.47 meters) in the Friends meet. Towle made her college debut.
