ABOUT THE STARS
Rashaun Coleman, a 6-foot senior from Houston, collected 13.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.10 steals per contest last season. Coleman nailed 51.8 percent from the floor and 37.6 percent of his 3-point shots
Kealon Clayborne, a 6-foot-3 senior from Cedar Hill, Texas, pitched in 8.7 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists a contest in 2019-20
• Oklahoma City shot 48.5 percent from the field as a team to rank 14th in NAIA Division I. Compare OCU with the rest of the NAIA statistically last season here
• The Stars took the eighth spot in the preseason SAC coaches poll. OCU owns 13 SAC regular-season championships and 10 SAC Tournament titles. Oklahoma City has advanced to the NAIA Division I Championship Tournament 25 times all-time and has won six national championships in 1991, 1992, 1994, 1996, 2007 and 2008
• OCU has an all-time record of 5-1 against Central Christian. The Stars prevailed 76-71 on Jan. 30, 2020 in McPherson, Kan. Clayborne notched 13 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals
 
ABOUT THE TIGERS
• Central Christian walloped Barclay (Kan.) 91-69 on Tuesday in McPherson, Kan. The Tigers (6-1) have won four in a row
• Demario Moore, a 6-2 junior, had 21 points and 12 rebounds. Moore averages 13.9 points and 8.3 rebounds a game
• The Tigers have posted a plus-12.43 rebounding margin to rate sixth nationally
• Central Christian has been slated to finish 10th in the conference according to the preseason SAC poll

MEET THE COACHES
Tim Kisner (first season with OCU)
• Kisner served as an assistant coach at John Brown (Ark.) the previous two seasons. John Brown went 51-16 (.762 winning percentage) with a program record-tying 28 victories last season, two national-tournament berths, two second-place finishes in the SAC and two appearances in the SAC Tournament title game. The Golden Eagles were 44-48 (.478) the two years prior to Kisner's arrival
• Guided Fresno Pacific to 14 victories as head coach in 2015-16, which was a five-game improvement over the previous season
• Started four years at point guard for Central Michigan from 1997-2001, earning spots on the program's all-time list for points, assists, 3-pointers and steals
 
Tony Romero (205-149, 12th season with Central Christian)
• Took over at Central Christian's head coach for the 2009-10 season after spending the previous five seasons on the Tigers' bench as an assistant
• Overall head-coaching record of 194-141 in his 11th year as a head coach at Central Christian
• Played at CCCK from 2000-04 where he was names All-MCAC as a senior.
• An Oklahoma City native, Romero graduated from Del City High School in 2000
