OCU gets shut out by Houston-Victoria

Stars fall to 0-2 on the season

VICTORIA, Texas – The Oklahoma City University men's soccer team dropped a 4-0 result to Houston-Victoria on Saturday at The Cage.
Andre Salvador recorded nine saves for the Stars, now 0-2 on the season. Houston-Victoria's season-opening win puts them at 1-0.
Brody Patience scored the first goal in the 20th minute. Adrian Rodriguez added a goal in the 36th minute off a Patience assist, while Patience knocked another in the net a minute later. Burabari Nalelo set him up.
Oliver Nugent gave the Jaguars their fourth goal in the 55th minute. Uriel Garcia was credited with the assist.
The Jaguars outshot the Stars, 18-4. Gian Marco Cordoba finished with one save to start the season 1-0.
The Stars will play again at 2:30 p.m. Monday against Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) at OLLU Soccer Field.
