Yukon, Okla. – Oklahoma City University's Nikole Halladay-Meth won each of her races Friday in the Southwestern Christian Twilight Qualifier.
Halladay-Meth claimed the "A" qualifying standard in both the 100 and 200 meter runs. Halladay-Meth, a freshman from Odessa, Texas, ran a 24.71 in the 200-meters, while running the 100-meters in 11.91.
Anysia Romain finished No. 1 in the 400 meter run with a time of 59.40 and claimed third in the 200-meters finishing in 25.96.
Others competing for OCU was Macey Cox and Bailey Sartain. Cox, a freshman from Oklahoma City, placed third in the 1,500-meter race with a time of five minutes and 26.50 seconds, while Sartain, a freshman from Tulsa, Okla., had a time of 3:02.24 in the 800-meters to turn in an eighth place finish.
The Stars return to action May 3 at the Arkansas Twilight Meet in Fayetteville, Ark.
