OCU's Dryden takes home third in Arkansas Qualifier

Halladay-Meth breaks her school record in the 200-meter

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Oklahoma City University's Nikole Halladay-Meth and Sheridan Hoyer headlined the Stars' day at the Arkansas Qualifiers on Saturday.
Halladay-Meth, a freshman from Odessa, Texas, finished in 13th in the women's 200-meter race with a final time of 25.32 seconds, which breaks her previously set school record. Hoyer, a junior from Poteau, Okla., took 12th in the women's 800-meter with a 2:18.12, to qualify with B standard. Also competing in the 3,000-meter race for OCU was Natalie Dryden, who completed the race in 10:33.63 to finish in third place.
Oklahoma City also had Delaney Mayo, a junior from Edmond, Okla., competing in the women's 800-meter race. She finished in 14th place for the Stars with a final time of 2:21.79.

OCU next competes in the NAIA indoor track and field championships on Feb. 28-March 2 in Brookings, S.D.
