OCU falls to Central Christian 2-0

The Stars are now 0-5 in conference play

McPHERSON, Kan. – Central Christian (Kan.) defeated Oklahoma City University 2-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
Ljubisa Palic, a sophomore from St. Gallen, Switzerland, led the Stars with four shots (two on goal). Guilherme Grave, a junior from São Paulo, Brazil, also collected a shot. OCU fell to 5-8, 0-5 in Sooner Athletic Conference men's soccer.
Central Christian moved to 5-7-1, 1-4 in the SAC. OCU has now been held scoreless in their last three matches.
Andre Salvador, a senior from São Bento do Sul, Brazil, remained in goal for the entire game and recorded two saves for OCU. The Stars had chances on four corner kicks in the match.
Matias Nunez scored both goals for the Tigers.
OCU will head home for senior day to take on Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) at 7 p.m. Saturday at Brian Harvey Field.
