OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University stomped Oklahoma Baptist 4-0 at Stars Field on Monday night.
Petar Djurdjevic, a senior from Belgrade, Serbia, and Aboubakr Diallo, a senior from Oyem, Gabon, combined for 13 total shots and nine of them going against the goal. Both collected two goals to lead OCU. OCU improved to 2-1 on the season in men's soccer.
Djurdjevic scored the first two goals of the evening, with the first coming in the 32nd minute and the second coming in the 64th minute. Diallo provided an assist on the second goal. Diallo added to the scoring with a goal in the 81st minute assisted by James Beattie and Dylan Thomas. The final goal of the night came in the 83rd minute, where Diallo scored assisted by Beattie and Austin Ehlers.
The Stars edged the Bison 23 shots to 16 shots on the night and 11 shots on goal to five.
Andre Salvador collected five saves to secure the win.
Oklahoma City returns to action against Southern Nazarene at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Bethany, Okla.
