OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University fell to Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) 3-1 on Saturday at Stars Field.
The Stars got on the board with a goal by Andrija Sreckovic in the 85th minute. The goal was the first of the season for the Sreckovic and his first career goal at OCU. Namory Sidibe, a junior from Wichita, Kan., recorded the assist. OCU went to 1-1 on the year, while OLLU improved to 2-0.
OLLU scored first with a goal in the 26th minute by Adrian Delgado assisted by Norberto Lira. The Saints followed that up with the game-winning goal in the 39th minute by Tristan Pettit. Carlos Cabrera and Nicholas Martinez notched assists as Our Lady of the Lake led 2-0.
The Saints rounded out the scoring in the 86th minute with a goal off a penalty kick by Jesus Cortes.
OCU's goalkeeper Andre Salvador had nine saves.
Oklahoma City gets back in action at 7 p.m. Tuesday against Randall at Stars Field.
