Kirsten Thomas, a senior from Keller, Texas, recorded three saves in the defeat. Kristina Patterson, a junior from Rockwall, Texas, made her first appearance of the season playing the final nine minutes in the goal.
Texas Wesleyan held the edge in shots (11-9) and shots on goal (6-3).
The Stars will head home for their next match against Randall Thursday at 5 p.m.
