THE MATCHUP
• Oklahoma City University returns to action after two exhibitions against NCAA Division II opponents Midwestern State (Texas) and Texas A&M-Commerce
• The Stars have won their last three games against Randall by an average of 19.6 points
• OCU looks to start 7-0 for the second consecutive season

ABOUT THE STARS
• Oklahoma City (6-0) most recently fell to Texas A&M-Commerce 82-66 at the A&M Commerce Field House on Nov. 21. The Stars kept the exhibition close for the majority of the night, but allowed the Lions to end the game on a 12-2 run over the last three and a half minutes
Terence Bonhomme, a 6-foot senior from St. Martinville, La., led the Stars with 17 points, six rebounds and four assists against Texas A&M-Commerce. He is second on the team in scoring with 20.3 points per game and leads the NAIA Division I in free-throw percentage, hitting a perfect 31-of-31 from the line this season
Ridell Camidge, a 6-4 senior from Wilmington, N.C., leads OCU in scoring with an average of 20.8 points per contest. Camidge ranks seventh in NAIA Division I in 3-point field goals made per game with 3.6
Samuel Williams, a 6-8 senior from Reno, Nev., has become a force in the frontcourt for the Stars, averaging 19.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game this year. He ranks sixth in NAIA Division I in offensive rebounds per game with 4.0. Against Texas A&M-Commerce, Williams played just 17 minutes due to foul trouble, scoring six points and grabbing two rebounds
• Through six regular season games, OCU has generated one of the most high-powered offenses in the NAIA Division I. The Stars rank 10th in scoring offense per game (97.1), 12th in field goal percentage (51.3) and 17th in 3-point field goal percentage (39.6)
• OCU has been slotted at No. 12 in the preseason NAIA Division I rankings. Oklahoma City has made 23 NAIA Division I Tournament appearances and won six national championships in 1991, 1992, 1994, 1996, 2007 and 2008
• The Stars have been picked to finish second place in the Sooner Athletic Conference according to the preseason coaches poll. OCU owns 12 SAC regular-season titles and nine SAC Tournament crowns.
• Oklahoma City defeated Randall 102-89 on Nov. 13 at Abe Lemons Arena. Williams produced a game-high 25 points and snagged eight rebounds, while Camidge notched his first double-double of the season with 19 points and 10 rebounds
• OCU leads the all-time series against Randall 4-0

ABOUT THE LIONS
• Randall (2-7), the defending NCCAA DII national champion, opens Southwest Region play against Barclay (Kan.) at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Moore, Okla. The Lions lost to Rogers State 95-59 on Saturday, allowing Rogers State to shoot 57.7 percent from the field and 47.6 percent from behind the arc
• Xavier Hunter, a 5-9 senior from Oklahoma City, leads the Saints in scoring, averaging 20.4 points per game. He had 20 points and eight rebounds in the last outing against OCU
• The Lions' two wins this year are over Mid-America Christian and NCAA Division II St. Mary's (Texas). Randall knocked off St. Mary's 77-64 in San Antonio, holding the Rattlers to 18.5 percent from 3-point land and forcing 16 turnovers
• Randall is shooting 39.9 percent from the floor and 34.7 percent from beyond the arc this season. Its opponents are shooting 46.7 percent from the field and 34.9 percent from 3-point range

MEET THE COACHES
Vinay Patel (42-22, third season with OCU)

• Patel has guided two OCU all-Americans, including the Stars' first first-teamer since 2008; the 2017 Sooner Athletic Conference player of the year, the 2017 SAC co-defensive player of the year, a finalist for the Dark Horse Dunker competition, six all-conference performers and three academic all-SAC choices
• Before coming to OCU, he spent one season as Rogers State's assistant coach and aided the Hillcats to a 20-8 season led by the conference player of the year
• Patel spent nine years as assistant before serving as the head coach at West Texas A&M. During that time, West Texas went to the NCAA Division II Tournament five times, won the Lone Star Conference championship and took two Lone Star South Division titles

Mark Berokoff (84-78, sixth season with Randall)
• Berokoff has helped the Saints win back-to-back NCCAA Division II national championships and has coached the 2016-17 national player of the year and first team all-American in Trey Snead
• He came to Randall after one year as the Director of Basketball Operations for the Texas State Men's Basketball team
• Berokoff has also served as an administrative assistant at Louisiana Tech University. While there, he was part of one of the best seasons in the school's history with a record of 24-11 and a berth in the College Insider Tournament quarterfinals
