Stars' Vojnovic takes SAC setter of week

Junior from Bajeljena, Bosnia, pulls in third league setter of week nod

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sanja Vojnovic of Oklahoma City University garnered Sooner Athletic Conference volleyball setter of the week for the third time this year.
Vojnovic, a junior from Bajeljena, Bosnia, collected 13.50 assists, 0.33 blocks and 0.33 aces a set during the week of Sept. 19-25.
In conference wins over Mid-America Christian and Southwestern Christian, Vojnovic totaled 81 assists, nine kills and five digs. OCU improved to 15-3, 6-0 in league play.
On the season, Vojnovic ranks 13th in the NAIA with 10.79 assists per set and 14th with 669 assists. She adds 0.32 aces and 0.24 blocks a set.
The 14th-ranked Stars take on Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) at 7 p.m. Friday at Abe Lemons Arena. Watch the match live.
