Bellevue blanks OCU 1-0

Stars complete nonconference schedule

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University dropped a 1-0 decision to Bellevue (Neb.) on Saturday at Stars Field.
Jordyn Seidel fired in the match's only goal for Bellevue in the 46th minute. The Stars went to 2-5 in women's soccer.
Michelle Dolder and Kylie Taylor had assists on the goal. Laurence Rodier recorded three saves to aid Bellevue's effort.
Bellevue posted a 17-6 advantage in shots and 9-3 edge in shots on goal. Shaye Kerlin, a freshman from Keller, Texas, led OCU with two shots. Kirsten Thomas, a sophomore from Keller, Texas, notched eight saves for the Stars.
OCU opens Sooner Athletic Conference play vs. Bacone at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Stars Field.
