OCU absorbs 3-0 setback to Texas A&M-Texarkana

Stars collide with 17th-ranked Kansas Wesleyan in NAIA game of week

TEXARKANA, Texas – Oklahoma City University took a 3-0 loss to Texas A&M-Texarkana on Thursday at Eagle Field.
Samantha Sharpnack-Isom provided Texas A&M-Texarkana with a hat trick. The Stars went to 2-3 in women's soccer.
Isom scored twice in the second half to bring her season total to 11. Texas A&M-Texarkana built a 7-1 advantage in shots on goal. Kayla McKenna, a junior from Las Vegas, accounted for the Stars' shot.
Kirsten Thomas, a sophomore from Keller, Texas, produced four saves for OCU.
Oklahoma City squares off with Kansas Wesleyan, ranked 17th in the NAIA, at 4 p.m. Saturday in Salina, Kan., in the NAIA Network women's soccer game of the week.
