Stars fall 3-0 to Oklahoma Wesleyan

OCU goes to 2-2 on year

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University suffered a 3-0 setback to Oklahoma Wesleyan on Tuesday at Stars Field.
Kaja Cremin assisted on the contest's first goal, then scored herself just before halftime for Oklahoma Wesleyan. The Stars went to 2-2 in women's soccer.
Oklahoma Wesleyan posted 17 shots, eight on goal, while OCU mustered 10 shots, five on goal. Kayla McKenna, a junior from Las Vegas, took a team-high three shots for the Stars.
Kirsten Thomas, a sophomore from Keller, Texas, snagged three saves. Kristina Patterson, a freshman from Rockwall, Texas, picked up two saves in her collegiate debut for OCU.
The Stars faces Texas A&M-Texarkana at 3 p.m. Thursday in Texarkana, Texas.
