OCU falls to John Brown 2-0

Stars' winning string ends at four

SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. – John Brown (Ark.) defeated Oklahoma City University 2-0 on Tuesday at Alumni Field.
Petar Djurdjevic, a sophomore from Belgrade, Serbia, and Juan Ocampo, a senior from Boca Raton, Fla., led the Stars with three shots and two shots on goal each. OCU fell to 8-3, 2-1 in Sooner Athletic Conference men's soccer.
John Brown, ranked 15th in the NAIA, moved to 8-1-1, 3-0 in the SAC. John Brown snapped OCU's winning streak at four.
Vladimir Kalajdzic, a junior from Novi Sad, Serbia, remained in goal for the entire game and recorded five saves for OCU. Alexandre Taiar chipped in three shots for the Stars.
Steve Teshima and Ashby Clark scored the two goals for the Golden Eagles.
OCU will head to Waxahachie, Texas, to take on Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) at 4 p.m. Saturday.
