FORT WORTH, Texas – Petar Djurdjevic scored the game-tying goal in the 88th minute as Oklahoma City University played Texas Wesleyan to a 1-1 draw Saturday at Martin Field.
Djurdjevic, a sophomore from Belgrade, Serbia, scored his fifth goal of the season unassisted to help OCU move to 11-3-1, 5-1-1 in Sooner Athletic Conference men's soccer.
OCU outshot the Rams 26-12, and the teams both had six shots on goal. Alexandre Taiar, a junior from Sao Paulo, Brazil, led the Stars in shots with seven.
Vladimir Kalajdzic, a junior from Novi Sad, Serbia, recorded five saves in the match.
The first goal of the game came in the 24th minute as Alejandro Rey scored for Texas Wesleyan off an assist from Ojouk Otieno.
OCU's next match is at home against USAO at Stars Field at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
