Stars' Vojnovic collects fourth SAC setter of week honor

Junior from Bajeljena, Bosnia, helped OCU to 10-0 in conference

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sanja Vojnovic became the Sooner Athletic Conference volleyball setter of the week for the fourth time this season.
Vojnovic, a junior from Bajeljena, Bosnia, racked up 14.50 assists, 0.50 aces, 0.50 blocks and 1.50 digs per set during the week of Oct. 3-9.
In a conference win vs. John Brown (Ark.), Vojnovic racked up 46 assists in just three sets. It was the most assists in a three-set match by a Star since college sets were decided by 25 points.
Vojnovic also reached 40 assists for the 10th time this season with 41 in a win vs. Wayland Baptist (Texas), who was previously unbeaten in conference play. The performance helped the 13th-ranked Stars move to 19-3, 10-0 in league play.
On the year, Vojnovic ranks sixth in the NAIA with 11.00 assists per set and 15th in total assists with 814.
