Mid-America slides past OCU 1-0

Stars drop to 1-1 in Sooner Athletic Conference play

OKLAHOMA CITY – Cindy Ramos scored the game's only goal in the 59th minute to give Mid-America Christian the 1-0 win over Oklahoma City University on Saturday at Evangel Field.
The Stars fell to 1-1 in conference play and 3-6 overall in women's soccer.
MACU ended the game seven shots on goal, while the Stars had six. Britani Tripp, a senior from Edmond, Okla., led OCU with two.
Kirsten Thomas, a sophomore from Keller, Texas, stayed in goal for the entire match and recorded six saves.
The Stars will head to Siloam Springs, Ark., to take on John Brown (Ark.) at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
