OLATHE, Kan. – The Oklahoma City University women's soccer team took care of MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) 4-2 on Saturday at Pioneer Field as four Stars scored assisted goals.

Ailee Thompson, a senior from Oklahoma City, posted a goal and three assists to lead OCU. The Stars moved to 3-2 in women's soccer.

Thompson scored her third goal of the season in the last minute of the first period off an assist from Allison Worsham. Thompson collected her first assist of the game just minutes into the second period when Sara Ricks scored her first goal of the year.

In the 71st minute, Vanessa Mendoza, a junior from Garland, Texas, netted her second goal of the season off Thompson's second assist. Thompson's final assist went to Britani Soesbee, a senior from Edmond, Okla., in the 77th minute for her first goal of the season.

Hannah Benedict of MidAmerica Nazarene led off the scoring in the seventh minute. The Pioneers also added a goal in the final minute of the match from Taryn McClendon. Kalyn Pfaff was credited with both assists.

Kirsten Thomas registered four saves and improved to 2-2 as the Stars goalkeeper. Anesa Curic did not record a save and fell to 1-1. MidAmerica Nazarene held the shot advantage 10-8.

The Stars play next 6 p.m. Thursday against Oklahoma Wesleyan in Bartlesville, Okla.
