OLATHE, Kan. – The Oklahoma City University men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 verdict to nationally ranked MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) on Saturday at Pioneer Field.
Vladimir Kalajdzic recorded five saves for the Stars, now 0-5 on the year. MidAmerica Nazarene, ranked 12th in the NAIA, improved to 5-2-1. Tanner Hunjak scored the first goal in the 27th minute from assists by Cameron Wallace and Eddie Morales. Wallace added a goal in the 56th minute off a Lucas Machado assist. Hunjak headed in a goal off a rebound in the 66th minute. Johannes Keisers was credited with the assist.
The Pioneers held the shot advantage 25-4. Juan Pablo Riesco did not record a save and improved to 5-1.
The Stars are back in action 3 p.m. Sept. 27 against Houston-Victoria at Stars Field.
