OCU falls 6-3 to Oklahoma Christian

Stars jump one spot to No. 4 in latest NAIA rankings

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University dropped a 6-3 decision to NCAA Division II foe Oklahoma Christian on Tuesday at Jim Wade Stadium.
The Stars jacked back-to-back home runs in the sixth inning. Oklahoma City, ranked fourth in NAIA baseball, went to 30-9 on the season.
J.J. Bissell, a junior from Windsor, Colo., got the Stars on the scoreboard in the sixth inning with a solo home run to right center. The next batter Adam Clark, a senior from St. John, New Brunswick, Canada, blasted a home run over the right field wall to bring the score to 5-2.
The Stars added another run in the ninth when Joe Lytle, a freshman form Yukon, Okla., doubled down the right-field line to score Reggie Wilson.
Oklahoma City travels to Evangel (Mo.) Thursday for a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m. in Springfield, Mo.
