OCU meets Southwestern Assemblies in SAC men's tournament

Harvey enters match with 399 men's college soccer wins

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University takes aim at Brian Harvey's 400th win in men's college soccer against Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) at 2 p.m. Friday at Stars Field in the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinals.
Oklahoma City, seeded fourth, concluded the regular season 7-8. The Stars started the season going 1-5 in non-conference play, but found their stride and went 6-3 in conference play. OCU had a five-game winning streak.
Harvey's coaching record in men's matches stands at 399-186-38 in his 30th year at OCU. Harvey's combined men's and women's record sits at 741-286-61.
Logan Stewart, a sophomore from Denton, Texas, and Petar Djurdjevic, a freshman from Belgrade, Serbia, share the team lead with six goals. Eleven Stars have scored at least one goal this season.
Stars goalkeeper Vladimir Kalajdzic, a sophomore from Novi Sad, Serbia, registered four shutouts and 75 saves in the season. 
The Lions, seeded fifth, finished the season with a record of 9-8-1, 4-5 in SAC competition. OCU shut out SAGU 4-0 on Sept. 29 at Stars Field.
