Shiels of Stars captures SAC libero of week

Senior from Edmond, Okla., helps improve Stars to 9-3

Kelley Shiels won her second weekly Sooner Athletic Conference award.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Kelley Shiels of Oklahoma City University snatched Sooner Athletic Conference libero of the week for the second time this season.
Shiels, a senior from Edmond, Okla., averaged 3.91 digs in an 11-set span that saw Oklahoma City go 2-1 with wins over Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) and John Brown (Ark.) to improve its overall record to 9-3 on the year.
Shiels has 205 digs on the season and averages 4.77 digs per set.
