OCU takes loss to Texas Wesleyan

Stars fall to 16-11, 7-5 in league play

Danielle Robison reached 25 or more digs for the third time this year in Saturday's match vs. Texas Wesleyan.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Texas Wesleyan came away with a 25-18, 25-19, 25-14 win over Oklahoma City University on Saturday at Abe Lemons Arena.
Danielle Robison, a senior from Dallas, collected 26 digs for the Stars. OCU went to 16-11, 7-5 in Sooner Athletic Conference volleyball.
Kristen Macy added eight kills and nine digs, and Rachel Gabel contributed six kills and 11 digs for OCU. Tori Leisure pounded six kills, and Hannah Mitcham supplied the Stars with 13 assists and five digs.
Heather Watson produced 11 assists and nine digs, while Maggie Vickers served up a pair of aces for OCU.
For the week, Robison scooped 51 digs in eight sets, averaging 6.38 per set.
The Stars meet Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Waxahachie, Texas.
