Stars fall to Wayland Baptist

OCU returns home 7 p.m. Tuesday vs. St. Gregory's

Danielle Robison reached double figures in digs for the fourth consecutive match and the 15th time this year.

PLAINVIEW, Texas – Nationally ranked Wayland Baptist (Texas) halted Oklahoma City University's three-match win streak 25-14, 25-12, 25-12 on Friday at the Hutcherson Center on Saturday.
Danielle Robison, a senior from Dallas, topped OCU with 12 digs. The Stars dropped to 15-9, 6-4 in the Sooner Athletic Conference, while Wayland Baptist, rated 18th in NAIA volleyball, went to 23-4, 8-1 in league play.
Torrie Flynn, a senior from Edmond, Okla., posted a team-high six kills to go with an ace, while Hannah Mitcham, a sophomore from Fort Worth, Texas, chipped in 11 assists and four digs for OCU.
The Stars' Rachel Gabel added four kills, four digs and two blocks, and Kristen Macy had four kills and three digs.
OCU plays the first of three consecutive home matches 7 p.m. Tuesday against St. Gregory's at Abe Lemons Arena.
