OCU pair become SAC award honorees

Mitcham named SAC setter of week for second time, Robison wins SAC libero of week

Danielle Robison added SAC libero of the week to her SAC setter of week honor she won as a freshman.
OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University's Hannah Mitcham garnered setter of the week, while Danielle Robison picked up libero of the week from the Sooner Athletic Conference as part of its weekly volleyball awards.
Mitcham snagged SAC setter of the week for the second time this season. Robison became the first SAC libero of the week from OCU since 2007.
On the week, Mitcham, a freshman from Fort Worth, Texas, averaged 10.75 assists. Mitcham posted 86 assists, 10 kills and 12 digs in two matches this week. Mitcham compiles 8.61 assists and 2.42 digs a set this season.
Robison, a junior from Dallas, Texas, averaged 3.88 digs and had four aces and no receiving errors in OCU's 1-1 week. Robison produces 4.11 digs and a league-leading 0.52 aces per set. She recorded the 10th 30-dig performance in OCU volleyball history with 32 against McPherson (Kan.) on Sept. 1 in Point Lookout, Mo.
Nicole Gruenbacher had been the last Star to gain libero of the week honors on Sept. 10, 2007.
The Stars meet St. Gregory's at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Abe Lemons Arena.
