OCU hosted the Sooner Athletic Conference Championships at Dornick Hills last season.
“The community of Ardmore and the golf course treat you well,” OCU coach Kyle Blaser said. “It's a privilege to play here. It's the shortest tough course you'll see. It's tricky with a lot of undulation on the greens.”
The Stars have captured four team titles in seven starts this season. OCU took third place in the Dallas Baptist Patriot Invitational on March 27-28 in its last event.
Clark Collier, a junior from Edmond, Okla., leads OCU with a 71.47 stroke average. Collier has two victories this season. James Marchesani, a freshman from Rosebud, Victoria, Australia, has added a 71.75 stroke average for the Stars. Collier captured the individual title as Marchesani finished runner-up in the U.C. Ferguson Classic on Sept. 27-28 at Lincoln Park Golf Course.
OCU will compete in the SAC Championships on April 26-27 at Cherokee Hills Golf Course in Catoosa, Okla.
