Devon Boathouse

The Devon Boathouse provides Oklahoma City University canoe/kayak and rowing with the most comprehensive and innovative facilities ever built specifically for the sport of rowing.
The boathouse serves as high-performance training center for the nation’s elite-caliber athletes. The boathouse will provide facilities for USRowing's new High Performance Training Center to be located in Oklahoma City.
The Devon Boathouse is situated on the rapidly developing Oklahoma River, which is becoming one of the nation’s most exciting new venues for international caliber sporting events.
The 33,000-square-foot, $10 million Devon Boathouse includes a training center, boat storage for OCU’s varsity rowing program, indoor seating with views of the regatta finish line and an outdoor performing arts area.
The Devon Boathouse serves as an anchor for community activities and youth rowing programs. Meeting rooms, event spaces and workout facilities are available to the general public.
The facility is located at Regatta Park east of the Lincoln Avenue bridge. Ceremonial groundbreaking took place June 1 to commemorate site work beginning. The boathouse opened in October 2010 in time for the Head of the Oklahoma Regatta.
