OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University hosts the Abe Lemons Golf Classic presented by RK Black, Inc., and Sharp on Friday, Sept. 9 at Lincoln Park Golf Course.
The tournament tees off at 8 a.m. Sept. 9. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the OCU athletic department and the Abe Lemons Endowed Scholarship.
Lunches will be provided and awards given at 12:30 p.m. that day. Those who play in the tournament will be eligible for prizes.
“We look forward to the Abe Lemons Golf Classic each fall, and we are very happy to have RK Black as the presenting sponsor,” OCU athletic director Jim Abbott said. “The tournament is designed to be fun, as Coach Lemons would have wanted it to be, and is a great way to support OCU Athletics.”
Registration fee for a four-man team is $500. Hole sponsorships are $150, $100 if also entering a team. Space is limited, so sign up as quickly as possible. Entry deadline is Sept. 2.
