GODDARD, Kan. – Vanessa Richartz led Oklahoma City University's women's runners Friday in the Friends Invitational at Lake Afton Park.
Richartz, a freshman from Norman, Okla., had a run of 21 minutes, 6 seconds, putting her at 37th overall in the 5,000 meters.

Elyse Davis covered the distance in 23:00 to run second among the OCU women's runners. Sooner Davenport finished in 24:07, and Jacquelyn Sandal completed the course in 28:17.

OCU runs next in the Oklahoma Baptist Invitational on Oct. 10 in Shawnee, Okla.
