Ray Fink joined the athletics staff at Oklahoma City University in May 2025 as director of athletics communications.
Fink, who came to OCU from the Abilene Zoo, has served as a sports information director at all levels of college athletics. He began his 30-year career in 1993 at Oklahoma Baptist (Shawnee; NAIA and NCAA DII) before moving on to Northwest (Kirkland, Wash.; NAIA) in 2018, Abilene Christian (Abilene, Texas; NCAA DI) in 2022 and McMurry (Abilene; NCAA DIII) in 2024.
While at OBU, he simultaneously was SID for the Sooner Athletic Conference under its original commissioner John Hudson.
Fink's award-winning career includes the NAIA Ike Pearson Award, the Sooner Athletic Conference SID of the Year, and numerous awards for writing and publications from the NAIA, Oklahoma College Public Relations Association, and the Georgia Press Association.
Fink is a 1985 graduate of Oklahoma Baptist with a degree in journalism. He also worked four years at the Americus Times-Recorder in Georgia and the Shawnee News-Star in Oklahoma.
Ray and his wife, Pam, have two grown children, Fletcher Davis and Collin Fink, as well as three grandchildren, Sam, Mabel and Warner. Pam was an OBU Hall of Fame softball player and coach.
