Kamryn Garvie joined the Oklahoma City University softball staff prior to the 2024-25 season, immediately following the conclusion of her collegiate playing career with the Stars. She currently serves as the program's Director of Operations.
In her role, Garvie assists with the day-to-day operations of OCU's 11-time national championship softball program. Her responsibilities include coordinating team travel, hotels and meals, scheduling practices and strength and conditioning sessions, managing equipment and inventory, organizing team activities and community service opportunities, assisting with video and analytics, and handling other administrative and logistical needs throughout the season.
Garvie also works directly with the Stars on the field, assisting with the team's hitters and outfielders.
In addition to her responsibilities with softball, Garvie works within the OCU athletic department. Her responsibilities have included student-athlete eligibility and compliance, academics, social media and communications, and game-day administrative operations across the department.
During her first season on staff, Garvie helped the Stars advance to the NAIA World Series championship series and finish the season with a 53-11 record.
Prior to joining the coaching staff, Garvie played two seasons at Oklahoma City. She hit .380 with 26 home runs and 136 RBIs during her career with the Stars and earned All-American honors as a senior as well as Academic All-American recognition.
Garvie earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Oklahoma City University and later earned her Master of Business Administration.
A native of Edmond, Oklahoma, Garvie is the daughter of Mandy and Ryan Garvie. She has an older brother, Reece, and a younger sister, Eastyn. Her brother previously served as Director of Baseball Operations at Tarleton State University before transitioning into a role within the university.
